We did not find analogues therefore are proud of our innovation in the museum business. In the Lower Dniester archaeological expedition eXteam - established a Field Museum exhibit. Right next to the excavation! So that the most "flashy" finds that flashed under a shovel, in a day or two were already on display.
The other day for example, we found a very interesting piece of the pitcher, decorated with a rare for our places monochrome black line painting. Rummaging through the books and determine the origin of this vessel we will after the field season, for now we wash it and it goes straight to the exposure!
In our exhibition we have our own "celebrities". For example, a beautiful fused from the mass of the fragments red clayed crater-oksibafon, of III-II centuries BC. Though it is not painted, but it has it`s own "highlight". The edge on the rim applied with a pattern of small indented circles. Our experts who saw the crater have never met such ornament.
Of course, our museum - this is still just a big namet, but it is the most striking and beautiful in the camp. Visible from afar. And it was noticed. The museum is already popular within tourists and residents of Ovidiopol. We even had to put new windows, because residents of Ovidiopol started to bring new exhibits
Not all of them are related to archeology, but they are given from the heart. Recently was brought a German clipper «Mundus», 30 years of the last century: the trophy probably from the last world war. Well, how can we not put a single storefront for such "donations"?
Although the main thing is, of course, De Wolan`s castle. The museum has not only finds, but also the plan of the fortress of 1796. And after hearing about it, visitors, especially local residents, with particular interest explore the remains of the foundations of the castle buildings, that the expedition has discovered. And they imagine what it will be: the restored fortress Ovidiopol-Adzhider.
And museum... Well, for now this is just a big tent. The main thing is that it is the beginning!
